THE KITCHEN — Court Green on Cream

The non-volley zone, set as a graphic statement.
The kitchen is the seven feet on either side of the net where you cannot volley the ball. It is the most discussed real estate in the sport. People win games by staying out of it. People lose games by stepping into it. We treated the words the way the words deserve — measured, quiet, with no punchline attached.
The print is single-color court green on cream. THE KITCHEN is set in Inter Display Semibold, small and centered at the chest. Below it, drawn at half-size in the same court-green ink, sits a thin court diagram of just the kitchen rectangle — a quiet footnote that lands for the player who knows what the line means. The whole composition reads more like a museum-shop tee than a sports tee.
Cut on the Bella+Canvas 6400 — a women's relaxed crew in 4.2 oz airlume ringspun cotton. Softer shoulder than a unisex crew, slightly longer body, the hem lands at the hip without riding. True to size in XS through 2XL. The cream substrate makes the green ink read warm rather than sharp; the type sits as part of the garment, not stamped on top of it.
We picture this one on the way to morning play, under an unbuttoned chambray shirt at the cafe after, with relaxed linen pants at a club-terrace lunch. The kind of tee that gets read across the room by other players, who nod at the line without needing to comment.
Single color, no back print. The shirt is the line THE KITCHEN — that is it, and that is the whole point. Sacred text, treated with restraint, on the substrate the line deserves.
Care
Wash cold, inside out, line dry, no fabric softener. Cream colors: wash separately for the first three washes. Iron inside out on low heat, never on the print.
Sizing
True to size for the women's relaxed cut. If between sizes, size up. Full chart at our sizing chart.
