Sizing
We cut for relaxed wear. Not boxy, not tight — somewhere between a Madewell tee and a 1990s Lacoste polo, with length that lands at mid-hip and a sleeve that sits properly on the upper arm.
If you are between sizes, size up. Our cuts are designed to fall, not to cling.
Three garments underpin the dinkmade catalog. Each has its own sizing.
Bella+Canvas 6400 — women's relaxed
The foundation of the catalog. Slightly fitted through the body with a feminine cut, longer body, modest crew neckline. The shirt most of our wordmark and crest tees are built on.

Fit notes: true to size for most. Size up if you prefer a looser drape, or if you typically wear an oversized Madewell tee. The neckline is a clean crew that holds shape after washing.
Bella+Canvas 3001 — unisex
Used for select designs where the cut suits the print better. Slightly squarer through the body than the 6400, with a more relaxed shoulder.

Fit notes: runs roomier than the 6400. Most women wear one size down from their 6400 size for a similar drape, or stay true to size for an oversized look.
Comfort Colors 1717 — boyfriend / heavyweight
Heavier cotton, garment-dyed, with a worn-in hand from the first day. Used on classic and capsule pieces where the print earns the extra weight.

Fit notes: a true boyfriend cut. Runs the loosest of the three. Most women size down one full size from their normal tee size. The garment-dye process means a slight color softening over the first few washes is intentional.
How to measure yourself
You will need a soft tape measure and a tee you already own and love the fit of.
- Body length. Lay the tee flat. Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the seam meets the collar) straight down to the bottom hem.
- Chest width. Lay the tee flat. Measure from underarm seam to underarm seam, across the chest, in a straight line.
- Sleeve length. Measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff hem along the top of the sleeve.
Compare against the chart for the garment that interests you. Pick the size whose measurements come closest to your favorite tee. If your numbers fall between two sizes, size up.
A note for gift-buyers
If you are buying for a doubles partner or a daughter or a mother and you are not sure of her size, our most-returned-for-exchange size is XS-to-S — we run a touch true to size in the 6400 and people often want a roomier drape. A safe gift bet is to order one size up from what she usually wears. Returns and exchanges are easy if it is not right.
