The Wordmark Tee — Navy on Cream

If the court-green wordmark is the field-day version, this is the one that walks into the clubhouse afterward. Same wordmark, same tracking, same restraint — pulled into court navy so it reads more members' room than morning rally. The tee for the closet that already runs to navy and cream and would rather signal club than color.

The print is single-color court navy on cream. Inter Display Semibold, opened tracking, the same horizon-line scale as the green variant. Navy ink on cream is the oldest pairing in racquet-club apparel — collared shirts, towels, paddle covers, the inside lining of a 1962 club blazer. The ink sits, ages, and softens with seasons of wear rather than turning chalky the way cheaper black prints can.

Cut on the Bella+Canvas 6400 — a women's relaxed crew in 4.2 oz airlume ringspun cotton. Softer shoulder than a unisex crew, slightly longer body, the hem lands at the hip without riding. True to size in S through 2XL; the body has enough room to layer a linen overshirt without pulling.

We picture this one under a navy cardigan walking off morning courts, or tucked half-in over white denim at a back-patio supper. The brunch test was the test we kept rerunning while we sampled, and this is the one that passed it most often. Pairs to denim, to khaki, to linen, to whatever is already in the drawer.

A single-color print, one substrate, no second hit on the back. We did not add a sleeve callout because the front is the whole idea. By the second season the navy will have settled into the cream the way a club logo settles into a polo — quietly, on purpose, without asking for attention.

Care

Wash cold, inside out, line dry, no fabric softener. Cream colors: wash separately for the first three washes. Iron inside out on low heat, never on the print.
