Pepper is Comfort Colors' answer to black: a garment-dyed heavyweight that settles into a soft, faded black after the first wash, the way vintage cotton should. The wordmark sits quiet in cream, making the tee read like something she already owned rather than something new.

The print is single-color cream on Pepper. Inter Display Semibold, opened tracking, the same scale as the rest of the wordmark capsule. Cream ink on Pepper reads soft and slightly warm; the contrast is grounded rather than sharp. The kind of black tee that pairs to denim and to khaki without taking over the outfit.

Cut on the Comfort Colors 1717 — a 6.1 oz heavyweight garment-dyed before it is cut, so the Pepper has the soft, settled depth that only heavyweight cotton over time can earn. The body is relaxed and reads unisex; it runs a touch large through the shoulder and softens further with every wash. Sized S through 2XL, true to size, slightly longer in the body than a standard tee.

The cream wordmarks are usually for warm days and light palettes. This one breaks the rule because the tee itself breaks the rule — it is not black exactly, but it reads solid and grounded in a way that feels earned rather than applied. Care

Wash cold, inside out, line dry, no fabric softener. Cream colors: wash separately for the first three washes. Iron inside out on low heat, never on the print.
