The kitchen is sacred

The kitchen is sacred.

The seven feet on either side of the net where you can't volley the ball is the most discussed real estate in the sport. People win games by staying out of it. People lose games by stepping into it. People who've been playing for forty years still mistime their footwork into it on a long Tuesday.

We treated the words the way the words deserve. THE KITCHEN, set in court green ink across a cream tee, with a small line drawing of the kitchen rectangle as a quiet footnote. Not a punchline. Not a meme. A piece of design that takes the sport's vocabulary at face value.

That's the lens for the whole drawer. Pickleball has a real language — dink, third shot drop, ATP, the kitchen — and most pickleball merch has been treating that language as an excuse for a one-liner. We treat it as a typography brief.
